Tina’s Restaurant specializes in Cuban cuisine and offers all the traditional Cuban dishes in addition to other interesting flavor combinations. Tina's is a staple at work, the delivery is fast and the food is awesome. I love the grilled chicken sandwich and the green hot sauce is amazing.

A taste of Cuban in the city - magnified by a legendary "green sauce" (whose exact provenance in the tapestry of global cuisine is unaccounted for ...) that truly heightens and amplifies the experience. The offerings of two sides present a balanced plate (the omission of vegetables in general probably reflects the cuisine itself) - the yellow rice, sweet plaintiains and tostones being personal favorites. The lunch specials are especially economical, considering the generous portions that are served.

The food is great. One of my favorite places to eat in the midtown area. I haven't eaten a dish I disliked. The mojo sauce (green sauce) is great on everything. After finishing one of their platter meals (a special with rice & beans), you just want to take a long nap. Sandwiches are very tasty. Sandwichs are still good when they are delivered. I normally order for a group of at least ten, and the majority of the orders are for the Grill Chicken Sandwich. I personally like their Cubano. The pork is so moist and savory. :) Delivery is fast even if you order for delivery. If you eat there, you might want to go there before 12 noon. It does get crowded fast, but service is very fast once you sit down.

Food is great here but be advised - DELIVERY IS SLOW! Extremely slow actually. Placed an order for sandwiches and the food wasn't delivered until an hour and a half later!

I placed my order 1.5 hours before my meeting. Food was supposed to be here by 2pm instead I had to call at 2:18 pm and find out that not only had the food not been prepared but that I was #5 in the online system and my food would be here closer to 3pm. Totally unacceptable way to run a business that deals with corporate clients. This is my second experience with them and I am totally unimpressed.

Tina's has a awful habit of sending your food ealier than when you specify. Case in point, today I wanted my lunch here at 12:45pm. The delivery guy showed up at 12:04pm. I wasn't in the office, so after a few phone calls he left and came back later. (After I reached him on his cell phone) I'm now eating luke-warm food b/c since the delivery man didn't find me, he went on to his next destination. This isn't the first occurance. I don't understand the point in specifying a delivery time if Tina's isn't going to adhere to it.

I ordered shredded beef stew at 10am; was generous and did not deduct for the 30 min late delivery. The food has great flavor but the meat portion was borderline, so 4 stars.

The food is decent and delivery is lightening fast. However, we order regularly and without fail the delivery is missing 1 or 2 sodas. Also, the delivery persons tend to call when they are leaving the restaurant and misrepresent themselves as already being at the building, which is annoying.

Bland and not very tasty. Chicken was typical processed chicken. White sauce was not good at all. French fries were very soggy and under cooked. For good cuban, try Sophie's or Havana.

The food at this restaurant is usually quite good and authentic. However, when they were out of the codfish stew and I ordered the fried fish, it was a mistake. The fish was not fresh like the rest of their food normally is. It had a fish smell and the texture was very disappointing.
